designed by darin montgomery and trey jones for urbancase, the sidebar is a handcrafted cabinet featuring a laterally sliding panel revealing adjacent compartments for glassware and liquor storage. a drop front door houses tools and a pull-out drawer below stashes peripherals. interiors of the compartments are incised with a pattern that refers to diamond tuck and roll upholstery and nods to vintage handbags and luggage.
the result of a collaboration with Teroforma, the sidebar project considers two objects from different design disciplines and how they relate to each other.
